est, where they encounter a balyan – a shaman – and her bizarre prophecies. At the same time, two children, Abyan and Busaw, journey through the forest in an attempt to get back to their mother. Spoken entirely in Mindanao Bisaya, the film is a revealing look at a little-known culture in the midst of massive change.
